Finishing scarves and making snowflakes

Do we look like we are having fun making snowflakes?
The hot cococa was a hit!!!

We are finished with our scarfs. Look how beautiful we all look!

It is a good thing that Sister Berry is good natured.
It looks like a snow strom hit her living room floor!

Melanie says an orange tastes much better than
hot cocoa & it is better for you.

This hot cocoa is kind of hot.

Sister Berry helping with the scarfs.

Scarfs & snowflakes go together quite well.

Look at all the love I have!

What a pretty young lady.

Holly showing how to fold the paper to make
a snowflake.

Patiently waiting for help.....

"All Smiles"

Finished my Scarf
Made pilgrim hats and ate them

This is harder than I thought!
You want me to thread this needle?
Some of the needles were small so it was a challenge.

Making pies

We had a ton of fun making pies. However, we owe a GREAT BIG THANKS to Sister Bryce & her family! They were so wonderful to let us come invade their house. It was really nice to have a kitchen big enough to fit all of our Activity Day Girls in.
Thanks again to the Bryce Family. It took a lot longer to make our pies then we thought it would.
Sister Berry is showing us how to measure our ingredients. We are so grateful that we have her to teach us.
The girls are all interested in what she has to say. They are very anxious to try their own skills at making pies.

Hollie is a pro at making pie crust. Her mom told us that she made all of their pie crusts last year for Thanksgiving.

Makayla is very proud of her pie shell.

Perfect, an apple pie!

Another perfect apple pie. I can hardly wait to eat my pie. Please may I eat it now?

Too bad it is a not sugar day. I will have to wait a couple days to eat my pie. I hope my brothers have not ate it before then!
Look how good I made my pie!

Chocolate, almost everyone's favorite.
Another chocolate pie.

Lydia decided that she did not want chocolate in her pie. She made her crust like a pro!
The finished product looks good enough to eat!
Megan had a very hard time deciding what flavor to make her pie. She thought all of the filling flavors sounded good.
Sydney may be small but, she knows what flavor of pie she likes.
Parents we know your girls would love to help you make your Thanksgiving pies. Just give them a recipe & a bowl with a lid & they will make your pie crust for you!
Sorry Janie, I do not know where the picture of you & your pie ended up.
